Summers in Pittsburgh are always loaded with family-friendly activities and outdoor events, and Erie Insurance is joining the fun this season to help Pittsburgh natives and visitors enjoy a seriously good summer.
Free Pedicab Rides
ERIE has partnered with Green Gears Pedicabs to offer free pedicab rides during popular, local events from June through September. Pittsburghers should be on the lookout for a fleet of nine ERIE-branded pedicabs with a “free rides” flag on the back for their chance to ride around town in style. Here’s when and where to look:
Year | Event |

July 4 | Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta and Heinz Field Fourth of July Celebration |
July 12 | Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Gallery Crawl and Cosmopolitan Party |
July 13 | Southside Exposed |
July 14 | Pittsburgh Pirates Kids Day |
July 27 | Jam on Walnut |
August 4 | Pittsburgh Pirates Kids Day |
August 18 | Pittsburgh Pirates Kids Day |
September 1 | Pittsburgh Pirates Kids Day |

September 8 | Pittsburgh Steelers Season Opener (vs. Tennessee Titans) |
